<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">The USA Mega Millions lottery has prize levels, so players should check every ticket even when all selected numbers do not match. Each play uses five numbers from the main pool and one Mega Ball from a separate pool. The drawing schedule is Tuesday and Friday, and results are available through Mega Millions and participating lottery authorities. When checking a ticket, first confirm the draw date, then compare the five white balls and the Mega Ball. Review the prize table for the jurisdiction where the ticket was bought, because local rules may affect prize amounts and claims. Keep the ticket secure while verifying a possible win.
