My Kia Sportage battery keeps dying – any reliable shops in Deira? (4 อ่าน)

I'm honestly getting really frustrated with my 2018 Kia Sportage because this is the third time in the past 18 months that I've had to deal with a dead battery, and I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with the car's electrical system rather than just bad luck with batteries. The first time it happened, I was parked at the Deira City Centre and had to wait over an hour for roadside assistance, which was a complete nightmare. I replaced the battery with a mid-range option from a shop that seemed decent, but now I'm getting the same warning signs again – slow cranking, dim lights, and the start-stop system has stopped working completely. I've had the alternator checked twice by different mechanics and both said it was charging fine, so I'm really confused about why this keeps happening. I've read that some Kia models can have issues with parasitic drains from the***tainment system or other modules that don't go to sleep properly, but I'm not sure if that's the case with my car. A friend of mine who drives a similar Sportage mentioned a place in Deira that offers Competent Battery Replacement Deira and said they actually know how to test for parasitic drains rather than just swapping batteries and hoping for the best, which sounds exactly like what I need because I'm tired of throwing money at this problem without actually solving it. The thing that's really bothering me is that I've already spent a fair bit on batteries and diagnostics, and I don't want to keep pouring money into something that might not even be the battery's fault. Has anyone here had a similar issue with their Sportage where the battery kept dying prematurely, and did you ever figure out what the root cause was? I'm also wondering if I should just bite the bullet and take it to the dealership for a proper diagnostic, even though they'll probably charge me a fortune, because at this point I just want the problem fixed once and for all. Any advice from fellow Kia owners would be massively appreciated because I'm at the end of my tether with this.
