Anyone else dealing with pallets that just don't fit the racking properly? (10 อ่าน)

I swear, half our warehouse headaches in Al Quoz come from pallets that are slightly different sizes or just warped enough to cause problems in our racking system. We've got a mix of wooden ones that have seen better days and a few plastic ones we bought cheap, and nothing seems to sit flush or stack neatly. It's a nightmare for our inventory accuracy because things shift around and we end up with damaged stock or having to manually recount stuff all the time. I've been looking at options like the standard 1200 x 1000 mm footprint pallets that seem to fit all forklifts and racking systems properly, and some even come with steel reinforcement to handle heavy loads in the racks. The problem is finding something consistent and durable that actually fits our racking perfectly. The consistency argument makes a lot of sense, especially for automated systems where every millimeter counts. I've also read that using durable and uniform plastic pallets can be a key part of improving inventory accuracy in large distribution centers. What I really need are some long lasting plastic pallets for organized stock management Dubai that won't warp in this heat or crack under load. Has anyone switched to a standard size and found it made a real difference in how smoothly your operations run? I'd love to hear if it's worth the investment before I try to convince the boss to replace everything.
