I was looking at seating options for an upcoming Southwest flight and realized I hadn’t really thought about what I wanted from my seat. I usually prefer to know where I’ll be sitting before the trip, especially when I’m traveling with someone else.

While researching Southwest Airlines Seat Selection Policy, I found it useful to look at the options available for my particular booking rather than assuming every flight would have the same choices. Things like seat location, legroom, and whether nearby seats are available can make a difference depending on what matters to you.

I also think it’s worth checking the seating***rmation before the departure date. Availability can change as other passengers select their seats, so waiting too long may leave fewer options.

For me, the main takeaway was to consider my preferences early and review the current***rmation connected with the specific flight before making a decision.

How do you usually choose a seat—do you prioritize legroom, a window or aisle, sitting near your travel companion, or something else?
