Hi everyone,

A lot of cars feel great when they’re new, but the real test starts once they pass 100,000 miles. Some vehicles start needing expensive repairs, while others keep running for years with basic maintenance.

From what I’ve seen, brands like Toyota and Honda tend to handle high mileage really well. I’ve personally seen older models from both brands go far beyond 150k miles with relatively few issues. Proper maintenance obviously plays a big role too.

That’s also why many buyers look at theJapan auto used car marketplace when searching for reliable vehicles with a strong long-term reputation.

In my case, a Toyota I owned made it to around 180k miles with only routine maintenance and a few normal wear-and-tear replacements.

I’m curious about other people’s experiences.
